Our Trophy Engraver Andrew has completed the Great North Run! – He has helped raised around £900 for the York based charity York Teaching Hospital Charity. Having returned to the LRB Trophies engraving machine with a few aches and blisters, he is feeling pretty good about his efforts. He finished mid table time – 34,458th out of about 58,000 starters, which is not bad for a first attempt. With a few pledges still to add in, Andrew and his running mate, Thom, will end up raising about £900 for the charity (inc gift aid). Everyone at LRB Trophies is very proud of his efforts and even more proud that he finished the 13 mile course. Earlier in the year, LRB Trophies helped by transporting 40+ bikes to meet a Bulgarian bound Lorry. – So if your Stuck for a present this year or Want to do something special this Christmas, Why not send a donation to help an Orphanage in Bulgaria, even if it is a fiver… Go on, feel good this Christmas. Bernadette Leggett can be found via google and facebook. Our engraving manager recently ran a mile in York for the Sport Relief weekend… dressed as a Banana! He was very pleased to receive his very own medal for completing the mile in under 12 minutes. This medal was slighty different to the 800 he had just engraved in the previous weeks for an order we needed to complete! All the members of the LRB Trophies team dug deep into their own pockets to sponsor Andrew, and the LRB Trophies team would like to wish everyone involved in the event good luck for their own fundraising.
